As an intern in the Information Technology (IT) career field, you will be part of a dynamic team that designs, builds, and protects the systems and services that enable the agency's global mission. This field is essential for coordinating the integration, deployment, and sustainment of the enterprise architecture. While your specific placement will be determined by mission needs, this internship will provide you with exposure to the critical functions that form the foundation of our IT enterprise. Potential roles fall into several key areas:

• Cybersecurity: Protects and defends agency information systems by monitoring security controls, assessing threats and vulnerabilities, and responding to incidents as a Cybersecurity Engineer, Cybersecurity Service Provider, or Cybersecurity Management Officer.
• Architecture & Engineering: Builds a holistic view of the agency's strategy and processes to design and implement IT solutions as an Enterprise Architect, Systems Engineer, Data Architect, or Standards Architect.
• Software Development: Designs, develops, and tests custom software solutions and applications tailored to specific agency and customer requirements as a Software Developer.
• IT Operations, Management & Analysis: Oversees the implementation and monitoring of IT systems, ensuring the optimal performance and delivery of data and services as an IT Operations Engineer, IT Operations Analyst, Program Manager, or Earned Value Analyst. Mandatory Qualification

CRITERIA: For this particular job, applicants must meet all competencies reflected under the Mandatory Qualification Criteria to include education (if required).
