This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Lead Android Engineer based in Netherlands. As a Lead Android Engineer, you’ll help shape high-performance mobile applications within a next-generation decentralized cloud and AI environment. You’ll take ownership of Android architecture, technical direction, performance, security, and the complete mobile delivery lifecycle. Working primarily with Kotlin and modern Android technologies, you’ll build scalable experiences that interact with distributed backend systems. You’ll collaborate closely with backend, infrastructure, and product teams to solve complex technical challenges. The role offers significant autonomy and requires strong architectural judgment, engineering ownership, and attention to quality. You’ll also mentor engineers and help establish standards across Android development, CI/CD, testing, and releases. This is an opportunity to make a direct impact in a highly technical European deep-tech environment focused on efficient, sovereign computing.
