Description PLK Communities is an owner and manager of residential apartment communities. Currently, we are in search of a skilled full-time Maintenance Technician . Responsibilities and Duties The Maintenance Technician is to assist in maintaining the physical integrity of the community for the benefit of all residents, visitors, and staff:
- Perform any and all property maintenance needs
- Prepare apartments for new residents
- Completes work orders
- Basic Carpentry
- Plumbing
- Electrical Systems
- Mechanical Systems
- Small Appliance Repair
- Maintenance of the property grounds and common areas
- HVAC service and repair (willing to train)
- Ensure proper removal and disposal of trash Benefit Summary

- Maintenance or "handyman" experience
- Apartment/multi-family maintenance experience a plus
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Tools (hammer, screwdrivers, channel locks, multi meter, Allen wrenches, pliers, knife, flashlight)
- Able to respond to afterhours emergency calls as part of an on-call rotation
