This is not a back-office logistics role. As our Distribution Center & Logistics Manager, you will be the operational force behind the movement of the products that make people smile—from warehouse floor to loading dock, carrier pickup to customer delivery. You will lead a high-performing distribution-center team in a fast-paced, hands-on environment near the border, where the details matter and every shipment tells part of our global story. You will own the daily rhythm of inbound receiving, outbound shipping, inventory movement, fulfillment, freight coordination, and warehouse safety—while coaching people, solving problems, and finding smarter ways to get great products where they need to go. Duties:

• Direct daily warehouse and distribution-center operations, including receiving, put-away, inventory movement, order fulfillment, packing, loading, shipping, and returns.
• Lead, coach, schedule, train, and develop warehouse team members to achieve safety, quality, service, and productivity goals.
• Manage inbound shipping activity: coordinate carrier appointments, unload trucks, verify receipts, resolve discrepancies, and ensure material is accurately received and stored.
• Manage outbound shipping activity: prioritize orders, coordinate carrier pickups, confirm shipping documentation, manage loading, and ensure customer-specific requirements are met.
• Safely operate a forklift and other material-handling equipment as needed; set the standard for safe loading-dock, warehouse, and equipment practices.
• Serve as the key contact for freight carriers, addressing pickup schedules, freight quotes, damage claims, shipment exceptions, and service issues.
• Partner with Operations, Materials Planning, Customer Service, Sales, Finance, and global supply-chain partners to support inventory availability and customer commitments.
• Track warehouse and fulfillment performance metrics; use data to identify bottlenecks and improve productivity, inventory accuracy, shipping accuracy, and on-time performance.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and efficient warehouse environment; identify maintenance needs and escalate them appropriately.
• Support inventory-control processes, cycle counts, reconciliations, and process improvements.
• Build and improve standard operating procedures, work instructions, and training practices across receiving, fulfillment, shipping, and warehouse operations.
• Help prevent shipping errors, delivery delays, chargebacks, and unnecessary freight expense.
• Conduct performance feedback, coaching, evaluations, and corrective action in alignment with company policy.

• Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements You must have all of the following:
• Warehouse experience: Demonstrated experience in a warehouse, distribution center, fulfillment center, manufacturing warehouse, or comparable logistics environment.
• Leadership experience: Proven ability to lead, coach, schedule, train, and hold warehouse employees accountable for results, safety, and quality.
• Inbound and outbound shipping experience: Hands-on experience with receiving, unloading, freight coordination, shipping, carrier pickups, loading, shipping documentation, and order fulfillment.
• Forklift certification: Current forklift certification and demonstrated ability to safely operate a forklift in an active warehouse environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of warehouse, logistics, distribution center, fulfillment, or materials-management experience.
• 1+ year of direct people-leadership, supervisory, or warehouse team-lead experience.
• Experience with cross-border, international, or border-region logistics is strongly preferred.
• Experience with inventory control, cycle counts, WMS, ERP, or shipping software.
• Familiarity with LTL, parcel, truckload, freight quotes, carrier scheduling, bills of lading, and shipping documentation.
• Experience in manufacturing, high-volume fulfillment, or a customer-specific shipping environment.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, operations, business, or a related field; equivalent experience is welcome.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
