Technical Cloud Project Manager

Position- Technical Cloud Project Manager Location- Navi Mumbai, Vashi. 8 12+ years of experience in IT, Cloud, Infrastructure, Technology Project Manager, or related domains. 6+ years of experience in a Technical Manager, Project Manager, Technical Project Manager role. Strong experience managing AWS and/or Microsoft Azure technology projects and cloud transformation initiatives. Proven experience managing projects from initiation through planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. Experience managing cross-functional technical teams comprising Cloud Engineers, Architects, DevOps, Infrastructure, Network, Security, and Application teams. Strong understanding of cloud technologies and the ability to provide technical direction without necessarily being the primary hands-on engineer. Experience managing project scope, timelines, budgets, Cloud Cost Optimization, governance Cloud audit, resources, dependencies, risks, issues, and deliverables. Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and project plans. Experience working directly with customers, vendors, internal stakeholders, and senior management. Strong experience in project governance, status reporting, RAID management, change management, and stakeholder communication. Experience managing multiple projects/workstreams simultaneously and ensuring delivery within agreed timelines and quality standards. Experience with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies. Strong understanding of cloud migration, infrastructure modernization, DevOps, security, networking, and application transformation. Experience managing technical escalations and coordinating resolution of complex issues. Ability to lead project meetings, technical discussions, steering committee meetings, and customer reviews. Strong analytical, organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities. PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, AWS, Azure, or equivalent certification is preferred. 2) Position Specific Skills Technical / Cloud Skills Good working knowledge of AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms. Understanding of cloud architecture, infrastructure, networking, security, IAM, databases, storage, compute, monitoring, and disaster recovery. Understanding of cloud migration and modernization approaches. Working knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, automation, and containerization. Ability to review technical solutions, architecture documents, implementation plans, and technical deliverables. Ability to identify technical risks, dependencies, constraints, and opportunities. Project Management Skills Project planning, scheduling, estimation, and resource management. Scope, cost, timeline, quality, and deliverable management. Risk, issue, assumption, dependency, and change management (RAID). Project governance and management reporting. Milestone and dependency tracking. Vendor and third-party management. Budget and resource utilization tracking. Change control and impact assessment. Project documentation and audit readiness. Ability to manage multiple projects/workstreams and competing priorities. Team & Delivery Management Lead and coordinate cross-functional technical teams. Allocate resources based on project priorities and technical requirements. Track team performance, deliverables, and productivity. Remove delivery blockers and drive timely resolution of issues. Facilitate collaboration between technical and business teams. Mentor team members and support technical capability development. Ensure adherence to organizational processes, standards, and delivery methodologies. Stakeholder & Customer Management Strong customer-facing and stakeholder-management skills. Ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. Conduct project status meetings, governance reviews, steering committee meetings, and customer presentations. Manage expectations and communicate project risks, delays, and dependencies proactively. Build strong relationships with customers, vendors, partners, and internal stakeholders. Handle escalations professionally and drive issues through to resolution. Communication & Reporting Prepare project status reports, dashboards, presentations, and executive summaries. Provide clear visibility of project health, milestones, risks, issues, and financial/resource status. Strong meeting facilitation and presentation skills. Excellent written and verbal communication.
