Position Summary The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory control, material storage, replenishment, picking, and internal material movements. This position ensures inbound shipments are processed efficiently, inventory accuracy is maintained, and materials are readily available to support manufacturing, service, and distribution activities. The Warehouse Supervisor leads warehouse personnel, drives operational excellence, maintains safety compliance, and supports continuous improvement initiatives throughout the warehouse operation. Essential Job Functions: Warehouse Operations Management

  • Supervise daily warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, replenishment, picking, and inventory movements.
  • Support Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor workflow and allocate personnel to meet operational requirements.
  • Oversee warehouse activities across multiple locations or warehouse zones as required.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment.
  • Continuous inspection and reporting of EPP, safety regulations and trainings related to the operation of equipment and tools for daily basis functions of all areas at the warehouse Inventory Control: Receiving, Replenishment and Picking Operations
  • Ensure all inbound shipments are received, verified, and accurately recorded in the ERP system.
  • Coordinate delivery schedules and appointments with suppliers and carriers.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through disciplined inventory control processes and cycle count support.
  • Ensure proper material storage and rack/bin management practices and based on Min/Max inventory parameters.
  • Support material staging for production and shipment requirements. Qualifications
  • 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience in warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or distribution environments. Experience managing receiving, inventory control, material handling, and warehouse personnel. Experience supporting manufacturing operations is preferred. Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, etc or equivalent must be able to verify. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control principles.
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Understanding of MRP processes and material management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Experience with quality environments such as ISO or Lean Six Sigma
  • Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, or similar process improvement experience a plus

Funciones esenciales del puesto: Gestión de operaciones de almacén
  • Supervisa las actividades diarias del almacén, incluyendo la recepción, el acomodo (put-away), el reabastecimiento, el surtido de pedidos (picking) y los movimientos de inventario.
  • Promueve iniciativas de Manufactura Lean, Kaizen y mejora de procesos.
  • Monitorea el flujo de trabajo y asignar al personal para cumplir con los requerimientos operativos.
  • Supervisa las actividades de almacén en múltiples ubicaciones o zonas del almacén, según se requiera.
  • Mantener un entorno de almacén seguro, limpio y ordenado.
  • Inspección y reporte continuo del uso de EPP, de las normas de seguridad y de las capacitaciones relacionadas con la operación de equipos y herramientas para las funciones diarias de todas las áreas del almacén. Control de inventario: operaciones de recepción, reabastecimiento y surtido de pedidos (picking)
  • Asegurar que todos los embarques entrantes sean recibidos, verificados y registrados con exactitud en el sistema de control ERP.
  • Coordinar los calendarios de entrega y las citas con proveedores y transportistas.
  • Mantener la exactitud del inventario mediante procesos disciplinados de control de inventario y apoyo en los conteos cíclicos.
  • Asegurar el correcto almacenamiento de materiales y las buenas prácticas de administración de racks y ubicaciones (bins), con base en los parámetros de inventario Mín/Máx.
  • Apoyar la preparación y el abastecimiento de materiales para los requerimientos de producción y embarque. Requisitos:
  • De 3 a 5 años de experiencia en puestos de supervisión en entornos de almacén, logística, manufactura o distribución. Experiencia en la gestión de recepción, control de inventario, manejo de materiales y personal de almacén. Se prefiere experiencia en apoyo a operaciones de manufactura. Escolaridad:
  • Licenciatura en Cadena de Suministro, Logística, Ingeniería Industrial, etc., o equivalente, comprobable. Conocimientos, habilidades y aptitudes:
  • Sólidos conocimientos de operaciones de almacén y principios de control de inventario.
  • Experiencia con sistemas ERP, preferentemente Oracle.
  • Dominio de las aplicaciones de Microsoft Office.
  • Conocimiento de los procesos MRP y de la administración de materiales.
  • Sólidas habilidades analíticas y de resolución de problemas. Experiencia en entornos de calidad como ISO o Lean Six Sigma.
  • Experiencia en Manufactura Lean, Kaizen o mejora de procesos similar es un plus.
  • Nivel de inglés básico-intermedio.
