BDC Platform Lead SAP platform knowledge
- SAP Business Data Cloud architecture — formations, tenant topology, and how Datasphere, SAC, Databricks and BW components fit together
- Capacity Unit (CU) model: what consumes CUs, how storage and premium outbound are metered, and how entitlements are contracted
- BTP global account, directory and subaccount structure; entitlement and quota management
- Working familiarity with Datasphere spaces and SAC tenant concepts — enough to judge a design, not to configure it Governance and commercial
- Cloud FinOps fundamentals: showback vs. chargeback, allocation keys, unit economics
- Demand and capacity forecasting; translating a project pipeline into CU and storage projections
- Service design — writing standards, RACI models, intake criteria and approval gates
- Vendor management with the SAP account team for CU top-ups and contract changes Soft skills
- Stakeholder management across Finance, business units and enterprise architecture
- Clear technical writing; this role produces most of the documentation
- Prioritisation and saying no — the intake form only works if someone enforces it
