Supervisory Information Technology Program Manager (Senior Deputy Asst Director - Field Operations)

Summary This position is located in the Information Technology & Data Division, Washington, DC. Under the general direction of the Assistant Director, the incumbent serves as the Senior Deputy Assistant Director for Field Operations providing administrative oversight and direction over designated programs within the division. Duties As the Senior Deputy Assistant Director for Field Operations, the incumbent oversees the BOP's enterprise IT field operations and support. This oversight includes planning, budgeting, and execution of resource management and oversight of IT staff training and technical support; and IT support of BOP field users, including institution staff, regional offices, Residential Reentry Management offices, and offsite offices such as the Counter-terrorism Unit and Consolidated Legal Centers. The incumbent also has oversight of the management and support of non-BOP users accessing

systems; management and oversight of the BOP inmate education network (ICEN) and management and oversight of the agency's video conferencing and collaboration programs (including technical support for telehealth and national executive conferences). As a principal member of the Assistant Director's staff, the incumbent is involved in all major policy decisions in the review and evaluation of program areas and must remain current on goals and objectives of the supervisor in the BOP. The incumbent will serve as a liaison between ITDD and other divisions and offices. In this capacity, the incumbent will serve as the focal point within the Division for the planning, implementation, and monitoring of relevant national program review activities as well as providing support, assistance, and feedback for program changes. Mandatory Technical

QUALIFICATIONS: MTQ 1. Demonstrated professional and executive level technical knowledge and management experience in Enterprise Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data, Communications, and emerging technology within the corrections or criminal justice sector, including demonstrated experience in developing, formulating, and promulgating new and updated information technology strategies, policies, directives, and procedures related to these topics across a wide and diverse enterprise. Experience successfully executing technology vision and strategy through partnership with Acquisition and Operations personnel. MTQ. 2. Demonstrated financial and personnel management experience related to information technology, including planning for and justifying resources and delivering high ROI Information Technology investments, including ability to conduct sound analysis, and to present the results in a clear, precise, and persuasive manner on complex issues related to information technology matters in response to federal information technology statuses, regulations, policies, or procedures.
