Junior Electrical Design Specialist

RidgeTech Automation is looking for a Junior Electrical Design Specialist to join our growing team! The ideal candidate will have a post-secondary degree/diploma in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, Robotics & Automation, or a similar program. Knowledge of electrical design fundamentals following ANSI and IEC guidelines, along with p revious experience with 2D and 3D development in AutoCAD or SolidWorks is essential. Experience performing the following role responsibilities is required: Electrical Design

• Execute control systems design of projects
• Develop electrical schematics including specifying hardware and components
• Develop hydraulic and pneumatic system design packages (AutoCAD or SolidWorks) Health & Safety
• Develop and verify safety systems; understanding safety risk assessments and the PSHR/PSR process
• Uphold safe work practices Project Management
• Manage project workflows through the entire design system process
• Manage client relationships to uphold project quality and client retention under the direction of Team Lead(s)
• Participate in stand-ups, work planning, and technical reviews
• Utilize Jira for progress updates, collaboration, and ticket management
