What you will do in this role As a Quality Specialist, you will work closely with the Senior Manager of Quality Assurance and cross-functional teams to implement, maintain, and continuously improve Atticus’s comprehensive quality program. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Quality Assurance, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring regulatory compliance, driving operational excellence, and upholding strict quality standards across our manufacturing network. Core Responsibilities Quality Systems & Compliance
  • Own the end-to-end CAPA and Quality Nonconformance programs, driving all tracking, documentation, root-cause investigations, and strategic action plans.
  • Develop, maintain, and periodically review Quality Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), training modules, and associated documentation within the Atticus Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Review and provide quality approvals for analytical methods, SOPs, and Certificates of Analysis (COAs).
  • Support the implementation and expansion of the internal and external quality auditing program.
  • Ensure strict compliance with industry regulations, corporate standards, and internal policies. Data Analysis & Continuous Improvement
  • Collect, analyze, and leverage quality data to pinpoint trends and uncover areas for optimization.
  • Champion Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives across both internal operations and external partnerships.
  • Support Operational Excellence goals by tracking, analyzing, and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) and management metrics.
  • Collaborate on formulation and manufacturing process improvement projects. Production & External Partner Support
  • Manage database integrity by performing timely, meticulous comparisons between Bills of Materials (BOMs) and the FileMaker Pro database.
  • Support contract manufacturing (toller) partners by providing essential analytical methods, QC standards, and check samples.
  • Collect, organize, and maintain key quality control data generated by tollers to monitor performance metrics and identify trends.
  • Coordinate and facilitate sample shipments from tollers to guarantee timely testing, validation, and delivery.
  • Partner seamlessly with cross-functional teams to address ongoing quality issues and expedite specialized projects. Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in a technical discipline, supply chain management, business, engineering or an equivalent field of study.
  • Experience: 3 to 7 years of hands-on manufacturing or quality assurance/control experience within a regulated manufacturing environment (experience in the chemical or agricultural fields is highly preferred).
  • Analytical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with a proven track record of handling data analysis and complex problem-solving.
  • Communication: Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills, with an ability to network effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Execution & Leadership: Proven ability to manage strict timelines, exceed customer quality expectations, and demonstrate natural leadership when driving process changes. Preferred Skills & Qualifications
  • Broad experience or formal certifications in Lean manufacturing principles and/or ISO standards.
  • Direct experience managing quality expectations with contract manufacturers (tollers).
  • Proficiency using modern Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software or dedicated Quality Management Systems (QMS). Why Atticus?
