YOU WILL: Financial Reporting:
- Oversee the preparation and consolidation of financial statements for the company and its foreign subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with US accounting standards (GAAP).
- Monitor the accuracy of financial data and ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded
- Analyze financial data for patterns, trends, and anomalies, and recommend corrective action as necessary Financial Governance:
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Supervise the preparation and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Provide financial guidance and support to department heads, and ensure that all financial decisions are in alignment with the organization’s strategic goals
- Coordinate external audits, addressing any findings and implementing corrective actions as needed
- Ensure continued communication with external third-party providers in different countries Treasury and Cash Management:
- Drive short term and long term cash-flow forecast and cash management initiatives
- Organize a centralized treasury management process Team Leadership:
- Supervise and mentor an international diverse team of finance professionals
- Develop a shared services approach to reduce closing timing
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments, including operations, legal, and HR, to ensure alignment of financial goals and objectives REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in accounting and finance preferred
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license preferred
- Advanced knowledge of GAAP and federal and state tax laws
- Proven experience in managing financial operations for international subsidiaries in a global organization
- Experience successfully managing a global shared services accounting team
- Experience in leading and managing remote teams
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Able to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
- Experience with Workday Finance module preferred
- Professional services industry expertise (particularly HR and staffing services) is a plus
