As a Major Shareholding Reporting Analyst, you’ll help deliver vital regulatory reporting that supports our purpose and enables our clients to be better investors. About the Department The Major Shareholding Reporting team sits within the wider Regulatory Reporting function in Investment Operations. The team monitors investment positions and produces regulatory disclosures across global jurisdictions, ensuring Aberdeen meets complex reporting obligations accurately and on time. Working closely with Risk, Compliance and external partners, the team plays an important role in reducing regulatory risk and supporting investment activity. About the Role Please note this role is a Fixed Term Contract, lasting 12 months We are seeking a Major Shareholding Reporting Analyst to join our Regulatory Reporting team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role is ideal for someone with experience in investment operations, regulatory reporting, legal or compliance who thrives in a deadline-driven environment. You will be responsible for monitoring reportable positions, producing disclosures and supporting regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions. You will also contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives. Key Responsibilities

  • Produce major shareholding disclosures and ensure regulatory obligations are met accurately and on time.
  • Monitor and calculate reportable positions and proactively escalate approaching thresholds.
  • Perform daily, weekly and monthly reporting activities across global markets.
  • Work with Risk, Compliance and third-party providers to maintain effective reporting processes.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation and risk reduction. About the Candidate
  • Experience in operations, regulatory reporting, legal or compliance.
  • Understanding of Major Shareholding Reporting rules across one or many jurisdictions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong IT skills and interest in process improvement.
