Torch Technologies is seeking an experienced Welder/Welding Technician to support the fabrication and integration of weldments and mechanical assemblies for DoW programs. This position is ideal for a skilled welder who enjoys low-volume, high-mix fabrication and working closely with engineers and manufacturing teams. As a Welder/Welding Technician, your duties will include the following but are not limited to:

• MIG weld steel components and assemblies.
• TIG weld aluminum components and assemblies.
• Fabricate weldments from engineering drawings and technical instructions.
• Build and use welding fixtures and jigs.
• Fit, assemble, and mechanically integrate fabricated components.
• Set up and safely operate fabrication equipment.
• Support design reviews and fabrication readiness reviews.
• Provide manufacturing input to improve component designs and manufacturability.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and productive shop environment. Required Qualifications
• U.S. Citizenship.
• Associate degree, 2 years of formal technical training, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of manufacturing/fabrication experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance .
• Proficient in MIG welding steel.
• Proficient in TIG welding aluminum.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and weld symbols.
• Ability to obtain required AWS welding certification .
• Experience working with engineering and manufacturing teams.
• Familiarity with AS9100 quality processes .
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to work overtime as required. Preferred Qualifications
• Experience operating overhead cranes and forklifts.
• Experience supporting military systems or mechanical integration. Workplace safety is a priority at Torch. Candidates must receive and present an OSHA 10-Hour Training Course for General Industry certification (either a card from the Department of Labor or certificate of completion from an authorized trainer) within the first 90 days of employment.
