Key Responsibilities & Duties · Technical Drawing & Modeling: Produce 2D and 3D CAD drawings Autocads SolidWorks) for copper smelting plants, refineries, and manufacturing machinery, including piping, structural, and electrical layouts. · Fabrication Drawings: Create detailed fabrication drawings for copper components, tubes, sheets, or cathodes, specifying dimensions, tolerances, and material properties. · Engineering Collaboration: Collaborate with mechanical, structural, and process engineers to translate conceptual designs into working drawings. · Site Surveys & As-Builts: Visit plant sites to collect measurements and update existing drawings to reflect "as-built" conditions. · Document Control: Maintain and update a library of engineering drawings, revisions, and project documentation. · Material Estimation: Assist in calculating material requirements and structural dimensions (Bill of Materials
- BOM). · Compliance & Safety: Ensure all designs comply with safety regulations (e.g., ISO 14001, 45001) and industry standards for handling hazardous materials.
