Industry Mentor

• Business Analytics Part-time | 3 to 6 hours a week | Remote | ₹13,000 to ₹40,000 a week You learned the industry the hard way. Help someone learn it the easy way. At Masai, industry mentors lead our main live classes. You'll teach topics from scratch, share how things really work on the job, and make sure every student gets hands-on with the tools the industry actually uses. What you'll do
• Teach live online classes, starting from the basics and building up step by step
• Share industry best practices, real examples and the mistakes to avoid
• Give every student hands-on practice with popular tools in the field
• Keep classes interactive with questions, activities and live problem solving
• Review assignments and projects, and give clear, useful feedback
• Work with our curriculum team and TAs to keep students on track When you'll work
• Weekdays from 8:00 PM
• Weekends It's part-time, so it fits around your full-time job. Why this matters The best teachers aren't the ones who know the most. They're the ones who make it simple. • Analyst thinking: breaking down a vague business problem and asking the right questions
• Business metrics and KPIs: revenue, growth, retention, profitability and how they connect
• Excel or Google Sheets, including cleaning messy data
• SQL
• Statistics and business math
• Dashboards and data visualization (Looker Studio, Power BI or Tableau)
• Storytelling with data: turning numbers into insights and clear recommendations
• Business basics in at least one area, like e-commerce, finance, marketing or product
• Using AI tools smartly in analysis, and checking what they produce
• End-to-end projects: taking raw data all the way to a dashboard and a recommendation
• Python for data analysis is a bonus Who we're looking for
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in data analytics, business analytics, consulting, strategy or a related role. If you've taught before, 1 to 2 years is enough.
• A real passion for teaching. You light up when someone finally gets it.
• Online teaching experience (a must)
• The ability to explain tough ideas in simple words
• Patience with adult learners from different backgrounds who learn at different speeds
• Comfort with online teaching tools like Zoom, screen sharing and digital whiteboards
• Reliable and on time. Students plan their evenings around your class. Never taught online? If you can explain things so simply that a beginner gets it, the way Richard Feynman did, you might be a teacher who just hasn't tried yet. Apply anyway. We may invite you to a demo round.
