Room Attendant | Beachside Resort Whitianga Located in the heart of beautiful Whitianga, Beachside Resort offers guests a relaxed coastal escape just moments from the ocean. With a focus on comfort, cleanliness, and genuine hospitality, our resort takes pride in delivering exceptional guest experiences in a stunning seaside setting. We are a close-knit team who value professionalism, teamwork, and attention to detail, creating a welcoming environment for both guests and staff. We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Room Attendant to join our Housekeeping team. About the Role As a Room Attendant, you will play a key role in ensuring our guest rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. Your work will directly contribute to the comfort and satisfaction of our guests. Key Responsibilities
- Clean and service guest rooms and resort areas to established standards
- Make and change beds, dust, vacuum, and remove rubbish
- Clean and sanitise bathrooms and kitchen facilities where applicable
- Replenish room supplies and maintain a well-organised trolley
- Report maintenance issues promptly
- Handle lost property in line with procedures
- Respond to guest requests and ensure a high level of service
- Support other departments as needed What We Are Looking For
- Previous cleaning experience, ideally in a hotel or accommodation environment
- Good understanding of spoken and written English
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Physically fit and capable of handling manual tasks
- Flexible and available to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
