RHT Mobile Sim Operations Consultant

USNH Employees should apply within Workday through the Jobs Hub app The RHT Mobile Simulation Operations Consultant adjunct role supports the planning and start-up development of the mobile simulation component of the Rural Health Transformation initiative. This adjunct role will help evaluate coordination workflows, identify equipment and procurement needs, support needs assessment activities, and make recommendations to RHT simulation leadership. The Operations Planning Specialist will work closely with the full-time mobile simulation role to provide specialized simulation operations expertise and help develop effective systems and workflows. This position is intended to support start-up planning and process development, not ongoing management of the full mobile simulation program. This is a part-time adjunct consultant role. Approximately 10 hours per week, with workload varying based on project needs, meeting schedules, procurement activities, and other engagement. Duties/Responsibilities Mobile Simulation Planning & Coordination Support (35%)

• Support the planning and start-up development of mobile simulation activities under the Rural Health Transformation initiative.
• Serve as a simulation operations specialist resource to RHT simulation leadership and the full-time mobile simulation role in evaluating coordination workflows, scheduling needs, and operational processes.
• Help identify practical systems for coordinating mobile simulation requests, equipment readiness, communication, and follow-up.
• Contribute to the development of timelines, task lists, and project tracking tools related to mobile simulation start-up activities. Equipment & Procurement Planning (25%)
• Support the evaluation of equipment needs for mobile simulation activities, including simulation supplies, technology, storage, transport, and setup considerations.
• Assist with equipment research, vendor communication, quotes, purchasing recommendations, and procurement documentation.
• Help develop recommendations for inventory tracking, equipment readiness, maintenance, and mobile simulation supply workflows.
• Provide simulation operations expertise to help ensure equipment selected is practical, sustainable, and appropriate for mobile use. Needs Assessment & Partner Support (20%)
• Assist with gathering information from rural health partners to better understand training needs, site readiness, and potential mobile simulation use cases.
• Support needs assessment activities by helping organize feedback, identify common themes, and summarize operational considerations.
• Collaborate with RHT simulation leadership and the full-time mobile simulation role to translate partner needs into planning recommendations.
• Support communication and coordination with internal and external stakeholders as needed. Documentation, Data & Reporting Support (10%)
• Assist with documenting project activities, equipment planning, workflow recommendations, partner feedback, and implementation progress.
• Support the development of tracking tools for mobile simulation planning, utilization, equipment, and follow-up needs.
• Help prepare summaries, updates, and reports for RHT simulation leadership, project teams, and stakeholders.
• Contribute to process improvement by identifying workflow gaps, operational barriers, and recommendations for more efficient mobile simulation coordination. Project Coordination & Team Collaboration (10%)
• Participate in relevant Rural Health Transformation, Simulation Core, and mobile simulation planning meetings.
• Support meeting coordination, agenda preparation, follow-up tracking, and documentation related to mobile simulation planning.
• Work collaboratively with project team members to support communication, coordination, and timely completion of assigned deliverables.
• Provide limited project support consistent with the adjunct scope of the role. Requireme nts Minimum Acceptable Education & Experience:
• Masters Degree in a health-related discipline or Associate degree and program coordination, project support, or related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience working in simulation, healthcare, education, public health, or community programs is beneficial.
• Coursework, certification, or professional development in project management (e.g., PMP, CAPM, Agile, Lean or equivalent applied experience),
• Experience managing or coordinating multi-site or multi-partner initiatives, particularly in grant-funded or community-based settings. Required Licenses & Certifications:
• Valid driver’s license (occasional travel to rural partner sites may be required). Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Demonstrated project management skills, including task coordination, timeline development, milestone tracking, and stakeholder communication in complex environments.
• Knowledge of project management approaches or frameworks (e.g., PMP, CAPM, Agile, Lean, or equivalent applied experience).
• Experience managing or coordinating multi‑site, multi‑partner, or grant‑funded initiatives.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with productivity tools, scheduling platforms, and data-management systems.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with clinicians, faculty, technical staff, and rural partners.
