  • Deliver recovery-focused mental health support as part of a multidisciplinary team across Northern Tasmania
  • Salary up to $100K + Superannuation, depending on qualifications and experience

  • Use your clinical expertise to support people experiencing severe and/or complex mental health needs Connected Care is looking for a Mental Health Clinician to join our team across Northern Tasmania. This is an opportunity to use your clinical expertise in a varied, community-based role, building meaningful connections and supporting people to access the right care at the right time. About Connected Care Connected Care is a statewide mental health service delivered by Wellways in partnership with Stride Mental Health and Clarity Health Care and commissioned by Primary Health Tasmania. Using a “no wrong door” and stepped-care approach, Connected Care supports adults to access the right level of mental health care and support at no cost, when and where they need it. Where you come in We’re looking for a qualified and registered clinician with experience supporting people with severe and/or complex mental health needs. You’ll bring sound clinical judgement, strong assessment and therapeutic skills, and the ability to coordinate care across multidisciplinary teams and service systems. You’ll be committed to trauma-informed, recovery-oriented and culturally safe practice, with the confidence to build effective relationships with participants, families, carers and other professionals. ​ You’ll Need: You’ll need a relevant tertiary qualification and current registration or accreditation in your discipline, along with experience in mental health assessment, therapeutic intervention, care coordination and outcome measurement. You’ll bring strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work collaboratively with participants, families, carers and multidisciplinary teams, alongside an understanding of person-led practice and the ability to balance duty of care with dignity of risk. A willingness to learn and apply stepped-care assessment tools and an understanding of the Tasmanian mental health system and legislation are desirable. A current driver’s licence and willingness to travel across Northern Tasmania are essential. You’ll also need to meet Wellways’ required compliance and screening checks i ncluding:
