Context As a Senior Software Engineer, you will join our core Perception Team. Your mission is to build, optimize, and scale the real-time software engine that processes high-throughput 3D LiDAR data. You will work closely with the Algo Team on perception algorithms, while collaborating across technical and non-technical teams across the company to build production-ready software. We are looking for a senior engineer proficient in C++ and Python, with solid knowledge and an appetite for Cloud Infrastructure, Kubernetes, and Managed Services, and interested in leveraging modern AI engineering (LLMs/ Claude). RESPONSIBILITIES Software Engineering & Collaboration: Work directly with the Algo Team on perception logic and collaborate across technical and non-technical teams in the company to deliver production-ready software. Cloud & Infrastructure: Interface, deploy, and scale perception pipelines using Kubernetes (K8s) and cloud managed services. Performance Optimization: Profile memory, CPU utilization, and execution paths across edge devices and containerized environments. Tooling & Automation: Develop internal tools, scripts, and test harnesses using Python. AI Engineering Integration: Integrate GenAI capabilities (Claude, LLMs, AI agents) to optimize developer workflows and testing. Technical Ownership: Drive technical topics autonomously from architectural discussions to production deployment.

Requirements for the Role

Experience: 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on C++ and high-performance systems. C++ & Python: Strong command of C++ and Python. Linux & Workstation: Deep knowledge of Linux environments. Workstation choice: MacBook (macOS) or Ubuntu Linux. Cloud & Infrastructure: Working knowledge and interest in Kubernetes (K8s), Docker, and cloud managed services. Cross-Team Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams across the company. AI Enthusiast: Interest in AI Engineering (LLMs, prompt engineering, Claude/OpenAI APIs). Why join us?
