Test Engineer

CASA – Savings and Current Accounts Account opening, modification, closure and account maintenance Customer/account relationship and KYC-related validations Term Deposits / Fixed Deposits, including creation, renewal, premature closure and maturity Interest calculation, accrual and posting Deposit products, rates and related parameters Transactions such as cash/transfer deposits and withdrawals Account balance, transaction history and statement validations Charges, fees, tax/TDS and applicable deductions Standing instructions and recurring deposit-related functionality, where applicable Validation of interest, maturity amount, charges and accounting entries Understanding of relevant interfaces/integration points with other banking modules and channel. Ability to understand functional requirements and prepare detailed functional test scenarios and test cases. Execute test cases across positive, negative, boundary and end-to-end scenarios. Validate transaction processing, balances, interest calculations and expected system/accounting outcomes. Good understanding of the defect management lifecycle, including defect logging, categorisation, tracking, retesting and closure. Ability to capture and maintain test evidence/screenshots/logs as prescribed by the project.
