Description Parkview Services is seeking a Development Manager to lead the day-to-day implementation of our fundraising efforts. This position will manage Parkview's foundation and family grant portfolio, strengthen individual donor engagement, coordinate corporate and CRA outreach, support fundraising events, and help build consistent communication with our community of supporters. The Development Manager will work closely with and be supervised by the Director of Community Engagement. The Director will continue to set overall priorities and strategy, while the Development Manager will take ownership of implementing that work and maintaining the systems, relationships, and timelines that keep Parkview's fundraising efforts moving forward. This is a good opportunity for someone who enjoys both relationship-building and detail-oriented development work. We are looking for someone who can work independently within established frameworks, communicate comfortably with donors and community partners, and grow into greater responsibility over time. Status: Part-Time, 20–25 hours per week Compensation: $33.65/hour Location: Primarily remote, with in-person work at Parkview Services' Lynnwood office approximately 1–2 times per month, as well as occasional meetings and events. Grants and Foundation Giving Own Parkview Services' foundation and family grant process from beginning to end, including researching funding opportunities, maintaining the grant calendar, preparing and submitting applications, coordinating supporting materials, tracking awards and requirements, completing reports, and managing renewals. Work with the Director of Community Engagement and program staff to identify funding priorities, gather program information and outcomes, and develop strong proposals that reflect Parkview's programs and mission. Maintain relationships and communication with current and prospective foundation partners. Individual Giving and Donor Engagement Help strengthen and grow Parkview's individual giving program through consistent, personal donor communication and engagement. Personally connect with donors through phone calls and email, schedule donor meetings, support donor cultivation and stewardship, and work with the Director of Community Engagement to identify and engage prospective major donors. Develop fundraising appeals with support and direction from the Director of Community Engagement. Restart and coordinate Parkview's participation in GiveBIG and identify opportunities to strengthen annual and recurring giving. Coordinate donor acknowledgments with Parkview office staff and ensure donors receive timely and appropriate recognition and follow-up. Corporate and CRA Partnerships Work closely with Parkview's Homeownership Program and the Director of Community Engagement to strengthen relationships with banks and other Community Reinvestment Act partners. Identify prospective banking partners and funding opportunities, conduct outreach, prepare and submit funding requests, and maintain follow-up communication. Each fall, work with Homeownership staff to schedule and implement meetings with current and prospective banking partners as part of Parkview's annual Q4 CRA outreach. Fundraising Brunch Support planning and implementation of Parkview Services' annual fundraising brunch under the direction of the Director of Community Engagement. Manage fundraising-related components of the event, including sponsorship outreach and follow-up, donor communications, invitations, registration support, and post-event stewardship. The Director of Community Engagement will initially retain overall event and program leadership, with the goal of transitioning greater ownership of the event to the Development Manager over time. Donor Communications Restart and manage Parkview's newsletter on an every-other-month schedule, working with the Director of Community Engagement and program staff to identify stories, updates, fundraising opportunities, and other content. Help develop additional donor communications throughout the year that keep supporters connected to Parkview's work and demonstrate the impact of their giving. Development Systems and Administration Maintain accurate donor, gift, relationship, and communication records in Network for Good. Maintain fundraising calendars, grant deadlines, donor follow-up schedules, and other development systems. Track fundraising activity and results and provide regular updates to the Director of Community Engagement. Work with Parkview administrative and finance staff as needed to ensure gifts, acknowledgments, restrictions, and fundraising records are handled accurately. Requirements Qualifications We are interested in candidates who can grow into this position and do not expect every applicant to have experience in every area of fundraising. Strong candidates will bring: · Excellent written and verbal communication skills · Strong organization and the ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects independently · Comfort communicating directly with donors, funders, community partners, and colleagues · Strong writing and editing skills, particularly for grants, donor communications, or similar work · Attention to detail and willingness to maintain accurate records and fundraising systems · Ability to work collaboratively while taking ownership of assigned responsibilities · An interest in Parkview Services' mission and in expanding housing, services, and opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities · Experience in nonprofit fundraising, grant writing, donor relations, communications, or a related field is preferred, but Parkview is open to training a strong candidate with transferable skills Experience with Network for Good or another donor management/CRM system is helpful but not required. Work Environment and Schedule This is a part-time position averaging 20–25 hours per week. The position is primarily remote, with an expectation of working from Parkview Services' Lynnwood office approximately 1–2 times per month. Additional in-person attendance will occasionally be required for donor meetings, community meetings, fundraising events, and other Parkview activities. Some scheduling flexibility will be necessary around major grant deadlines and events, including Parkview's annual fundraising brunch. Supervision and Growth The Development Manager reports to the Director of Community Engagement and will work within Parkview's existing fundraising and community engagement strategy. The Director will establish organizational priorities, provide strategic direction, and collaborate with the Development Manager on major funding opportunities and relationships. The Development Manager will be expected to independently manage the day-to-day fundraising workload within that framework. As the person becomes established in the position, there will be opportunities to assume greater ownership of fundraising strategy, donor relationships, and event leadership
