As a Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting clients' commercial decision-making by developing robust forecasting models, generating actionable business insights, and translating complex analyses into clear recommendations. You will work closely with client stakeholders and multidisciplinary IQVIA teams, contributing to projects that directly influence product strategy, portfolio planning, market access, and business performance. This role offers a unique combination of advanced analytics, client-facing consulting, and business development exposure within an international healthcare environment. The Role You will play a key role in the ownership, development, and maintenance of commercial forecasting models, helping clients understand performance drivers, assess future scenarios, and align business expectations across markets and functions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Owning and managing commercial forecasting models and forecast processes for pharmaceutical products and portfolios.
  • Reviewing forecast assumptions and identifying key business drivers, risks, and opportunities.
  • Conducting scenario analysis and sensitivity modelling to support strategic decision-making.
  • Partnering closely with commercial, finance, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure forecast alignment and consistency.
  • Facilitating forecast review discussions and supporting decision-making forums.
  • Translating complex quantitative analyses into actionable recommendations for business leaders.
  • Developing client-ready presentations and communicating forecasting outputs, assumptions, and implications effectively.
  • Acting as an embedded consultant within client organizations, building trusted relationships and providing ongoing strategic support.
  • Supporting planning cycles and business reviews through data-driven insights and forecasting expertise.
  • Managing multiple projects and priorities while ensuring high-quality deliverables and stakeholder satisfaction. Responsibilities
  • Forecasting & Analytics
  • Develop and maintain forecasting models for in-line and pipeline pharmaceutical products.
  • Analyze market, epidemiology, patient, treatment, and commercial data to assess business opportunities and risks.
  • Design forecasting methodologies and assumptions using both primary and secondary research.
  • Support product launch planning, portfolio strategy, demand forecasting, and long-term business planning.
  • Conduct quantitative analyses and transform complex datasets into meaningful business insights.
  • Identify trends, market dynamics, and growth opportunities to support client decision-making.
  • Client Engagement & Consulting
  • Work directly with client stakeholders to understand business challenges and objectives.
  • Present analytical findings and recommendations in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Facilitate discussions around strategic implications and business scenarios.
  • Translate technical analyses into actionable recommendations that drive client outcomes.
  • Build trusted relationships with clients through high-quality project delivery and proactive communication.
  • Business Development & Growth
  • Support proposal development and client pitches.
  • Contribute to identifying opportunities to expand existing client engagements.
  • Participate in thought leadership initiatives and the development of innovative analytical solutions.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to drive growth across strategic client accounts. Our Ideal Candidate Will Have
  • Experience in consulting, forecasting, analytics, market research, commercial excellence, business intelligence, finance, life sciences, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience working with quantitative data and translating findings into business implications.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and an interest in client-facing work.
  • Strong project management and prioritization capabilities.
  • Fluent written and spoken English; additional European languages are advantageous. Preferred Experience
  • Pharmaceutical, healthcare, biotechnology, or life sciences industry experience.
  • Forecasting and market modelling experience.
  • Commercial strategy, launch planning, portfolio management, or business planning exposure.
  • Experience supporting business development activities or proposal development Technical Skills
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong PowerPoint capabilities.
  • Experience with forecasting, financial modelling, business intelligence, or analytical tools.
  • Knowledge of Power BI, SQL, Python, Tableau, or similar tools is an advantage. Considerations Willingness to travel at short notice. Project deployments can occur anywhere in Europe, with delivery primarily managed nearshore. On-site presence is arranged occasionally, based on specific business or client needs.
