Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Python. Create automated test scripts for Web, API, and backend applications. Develop and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test cases. Perform API automation using tools such as PyTest, Requests, Postman, or REST Assured (Python-based alternatives). Implement UI automation using Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, or Robot Framework. Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD. Analyze test results, log defects, and collaborate with developers for issue resolution. Participate in requirement analysis, test planning, estimations, and sprint activities. Generate automation reports and dashboards for stakeholders. Ensure adherence to QA best practices and coding standards. Required Skills Core Skills Strong programming experience in Python. Hands-on experience with PyTest, Unittest, or Robot Framework. Experience with Selenium WebDriver and/or Playwright automation. API testing experience using Requests Library, Postman, or REST APIs. Strong understanding of software testing concepts and SDLC/STLC. Experience with defect management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or Bugzilla. Knowledge of version control systems such as Git. CI/CD & DevOps Experience integrating automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge of Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab. Familiarity with Docker and containerized test execution.
