Key Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day purchase activities for solar projects and business requirements.
- Source and evaluate suppliers, vendors, and manufacturers.
- Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate commercial terms.
- Prepare and process purchase orders as per approved requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors regarding material availability, pricing, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Maintain proper records of purchase orders, quotations, invoices, and vendor documents.
- Coordinate with the accounts, warehouse, project, and sales teams for procurement requirements.
- Track pending orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Follow up with vendors for order status, dispatches, and delivery schedules.
- Support vendor development and maintain good supplier relationships.
- Ensure purchases are made as per required specifications and company standards. Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in Purchase/Procurement , preferably in the solar or similar industry .
- Graduation in Electrical Engineering is preferred .
- Basic understanding of solar products, components, and electrical materials will be an advantage.
- Good negotiation, vendor management, and follow-up skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Knowledge of ERP software.
- Ability to manage multiple purchase requirements and work within deadlines.
