About the Role At Techdome, the software we ship moves real money and protects real patient data. That makes reliability, security, and accuracy the core of the work, not extras layered on top. We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer who takes pride in building dependable, production-grade systems and wants to be accountable for them long after launch. You'll work across our full stack (Node.js, React, MongoDB, and TypeScript), taking features from first idea to live deployment and having a meaningful say in how our platforms are designed and evolve. What You'll Do
- Take full ownership of features, from design and development through release and ongoing support
- Build secure, high-performance, well-tested APIs and applications
- Review code and set the bar for engineering quality across the team
- Investigate and fix production issues directly, rather than passing them along
- Shape architecture and technical design decisions
- Mentor other engineers through code reviews and everyday collaboration
- Partner with product, design, QA, and DevOps, and work hands-on with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, containers, and monitoring tools What We're Looking For Must have
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong, hands-on skills in Node.js, React, MongoDB, and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Working knowledge of
Rest API
design, database architecture, authentication and authorization, testing practices, and application security
- Proven experience running production applications at scale
- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Comfort with CI/CD workflows, Git, Docker, and production monitoring and debugging
- Experience in a regulated or high-stakes industry such as healthcare, fintech, banking, payments, or insurance
- A self-starting mindset and a strong sense of ownership Nice to have
- Understanding of system design, distributed systems, or microservices and event-driven architectures
- Exposure to Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Experience with HIPAA/PHI or PCI-DSS compliance, or with payment platforms like Stripe, Braintree, or Adyen
- Background in consulting, product studios, or managing multiple clients and products at once
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot Why Join Techdome? We're bootstrapped and profitable, with 80+ engineers across five global hubs.
