What You Can Expect :

  • To act as a HR Manager / HR Business Partner, developing positive relationships to directly support the Director and managers within the Country
  • Ensuring that the people plans are aligned with the Country, Overland and Rhenus group HR objectives
  • To keep appraised of internal and social developments, maintaining full compliance with any legal requirements
  • To provide support, advice and guidance to the management team and employees in respect of all HR related topics
  • To develop and support the division with its recruitment strategy and onboarding of new talent
  • To identify, develop and deliver talent programs to allow for internal growth and development, reviewing both operational and leadership requirements
  • To support the Country participation in any Overland or Group led people initiatives, ensuring local alignment
  • To assist in the development and structure of both operational and management trainings, making use of the Rhenus Learning Management System
  • To develop and support the divisions approach to succession planning, identifying high potential

  • To manage, benchmark and evaluate local compensation and benefits arrangements
  • To support the management team with employee relations activity, acting as the contact person for any external party involvement
  • To review, support and develop employee engagement activity across the Country
  • To drive and support HR best practice throughout the Country
  • To ensure that people are at the heart of the organization, continually striving to improve the employee experience and engagement levels
  • To proactively promote and embed the company’s core values, leadership fundamentals and focus on excellence.
  • To drive embed the employer branding and leverage this through people related activity, focusing on benefits to both new and existing employees
  • To contribute to the development of policies and processes and pro-actively support the delivery of HR policy and processes across the division
  • To manage and maintain accurate data across all HR related systems

  • 5+ years experience at working at a HR Manager / HR Business Partner level
  • Knowledge of local labor law
  • Experience within the logistics / freight forwarding sector would be advantageous
  • Experience of working within a matrix organisation would be advantageous
  • Proven experience in recruitment & onboarding
  • Proven experience in people development
  • Proven experience in supporting the business with employee engagement initiatives Qualifications
  • Degree educated or equivalent
  • CIPD Qualified
