What we are looking for: We are looking for a motivated, bright, and talented Environmental Remediation Technician to join our company in one of our New England offices. The selected candidate will work alongside a diverse group of experienced engineers, technical specialists, geologists, and scientists from across our practice to provide operations, maintenance, time-sensitive environmental response action, environmental sampling, and construction support for our industrial, commercial, and municipal clients. An Environmental Remediation Technician will perform a broad range of field-based activities associated with the environmental consulting industry. Position responsibilities will include: remediation system installation, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and/or repair; remediation system monitoring, data collection and tracking; time-sensitive environmental response action; support to the characterization of contaminated sites; remediation construction oversight and monitoring; heavy equipment operation; and contractor management and observation. Fieldwork, data collection, record keeping, and daily communication; and interaction with project staff will play an important role in the candidate’s success. The position requires the ability and willingness to travel and work on environmental remediation and construction sites throughout the New England Region on a routine basis. The role requires flexibility to support occasional time-sensitive environmental response actions during standard and non-standard working hours as well as periodic nationwide travel based on project and client needs.
