A Day in the Life

Coordinates and monitors company-wide training initiatives by keeping training records up-to-date and communicates training progress. Coordinates and hosts training events to support organization’s talent development strategies. Coordinates the educational opportunities that are offered throughout the organization while maintaining training requirements for those programs.

Step Into the Role

  • Maintains electronic database of employee trainings, certifications, sets up and Supports Trainings (i.e. Arc Flash, Crane Certifications, Infrared, OSHA, etc.).
  • Enters and maintains records of employee trainings that pertain to certifications/licenses in HRIS, other requested database or a Learning Management System (via EIB loads).
  • Coordinates employee training needs by monitoring and reporting on completed training. Contacts employees to receive a copy of employees’ certifications, track expiration dates and work with employees on renewing their certifications.
  • Tracks, maintains, and purchases training materials from outside vendors.
  • Coordinates, schedule and oversees in-person training and virtual training events. Coordinates the training while it is occurring to help ensure the training stays on schedule.
  • Maintains training materials including binders, kits, jump drives and discs. Distributes training to field personnel upon request or as needed.
  • Registers participants for outside training programs.

What You’ll Need

  • Related Associates degree or equivalent combinations of education and experience or a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • A minimum of one year of comparable experience required.
  • Proficiency with Excel.
