Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server database environments. Monitor database performance, availability, and capacity. Perform database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery activities. Troubleshoot database issues and optimize SQL queries. Manage Always On Availability Groups, clustering, and replication. Implement database security, access controls, and auditing. Perform database patching, upgrades, and migrations. Support application teams in resolving database-related issues. Create and maintain database health checks, reports, and documentation. Ensure database compliance with organizational standards and policies.
