Description Position Title : Parking Attendant Accountability: Parking Attendant reports to the VP of Operations Job Classification: Part-time, non-exempt – not benefits eligible. Shifts will be offered on nights of high ticket sales- variable shift scheduling. Parking attendants for events at Daniel Stowe Conservancy in Belmont play an important role in helping festivals and other events run smoothly by directing guests and ensuring safety. Most of the shift takes place outdoors directing traffic and guiding vehicles during the busiest arrival period for the event. The role is outdoors, and attendants spend long stretches standing, walking, and communicating with drivers while keeping cars moving safely and efficiently. At peak times the pace can be fast and occasionally stressful, especially when many vehicles arrive at once. While most guests are friendly, some may be impatient if traffic is slow. Parking attendants work closely together, support one another during busy moments, and play a key role in helping events run smoothly. For someone who enjoys being outside, staying active, and interacting with guests, it can be a rewarding way to be part of the festival experience. Responsibilities: Understands the importance of each guest to the Conservancy, and drives excellence to ensure an optimal experience in every way. Work efficiently in a team and take directions in a fast-paced environment. While this is a seasonal position, successful Parking Attendants will be invited back for high volume events in 2027. Requirements Exhibits a passion for the mission of Daniel Stowe Conservancy. Successfully pass a standard background review. Ability to work some evenings, weekends and federal holidays to meet Garden’s needs. Ability to work in a team yet also independently. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with a diverse audience. Excellent verbal communication skills.
