No matter what.” ________________________________________ Planned Parenthood Great Plains is currently seeking a seeking a Full Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work at our Health Centers in the Kansas City metropolitan area. The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will function in an expanded role as the primary provider of medical services. This position provides direct care to patients seeking family planning, gender affirming care, and primary care. The NP/PA works to assess the clinical needs of patients, in compliance with our medical standards & guidelines, including ordering, interpreting, and recording results of clinical tests. Prescribes medications and makes recommendations for other forms of treatment, including birth control. The Float NP/PA will have a primary location of Patty Brous Health Center, but will supplement the Kansas City Metro health centers for staff time off. For the protection of patients, team members and all who enter our facilities, PPGP has made the decision to require COVID-19 vaccination for all team members, unless granted medical or religious exemption, as a condition of employment. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, this and other administrative positions at PPGP are working remotely, when possible. Occasional time in the office may be required for necessary tasks. Returning to the office on a regular basis is evaluated monthly based on public health trends. Masks, temperature checks, social distancing, and signing-in are required when working on-site.
