- Opportunities for professional growth and advancement What You'll Do As a Physical Therapist Assistant , you will work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to:
- Provide quality physical therapy treatments according to established care plans
- Help patients improve mobility, strength, balance and functional independence
- Collaborate with therapists, nursing staff, physicians, families and other members of the care team
- Document patient care accurately and timely
- Educate patients, families and staff regarding therapeutic programs and safety
- Participate as an important member of an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team What We're Looking For
- Current Michigan Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license
- Graduate of an accredited PTA program
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, dependable and patient-focused approach
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative therapy team
