Job Description: Principal Responsibilities
- Maintains the overall health and appearance of the customers' lawn & landscape by applying treatments at the proper time and proper rates to deliver the best results.
- Provides professional, prompt, and courteous customer service
- Applies fertilizers and pesticides to lawns according to schedule, safety procedures, and label instructions
- Performs seasonal aeration & overseeding using designated equipment
- Keeps up to date on the company's product and service offerings
- Drives a company vehicle safely to customer's homes and businesses
- Maintains vehicle and equipment through cleanliness, safety, and general maintenance
- Performs daily DOT truck inspections
- Completes required paperwork along with proper communication
- Maintains company phone and any equipment associated with it
- Assists in maintaining cleanliness of facility
- Represents Killingsworth with honesty and integrity
- Maintains a professional appearance
- Demonstrates the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Performs other related duties as required Required Skills/Abilities:
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Able and willing to work in various weather conditions
- Ability to operate lawn application equipment safely & effectively
- Technical proficiency with computers, smartphones, etc.
- You must hold and maintain a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Valid driver's license Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Requires 1 -3 years of experience in the lawn/landscape industry
- SC Ground Pesticide Applicator License is a plus but not required EOE
