About The Team You’ll be joining the JINGDONG Logistics team, which values collaboration, ownership, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Job Summary As a Transportation Operations professional at JD.com, Inc., you will be instrumental in optimizing and executing our logistics network, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of goods across our vast operations. You will play a key role in maintaining our high standards of customer satisfaction through effective transportation management. Job Responsibilities * Develop, implement, and monitor transportation plans and strategies to optimize delivery routes, reduce costs, and improve efficiency. * Manage daily transportation operations, including carrier selection, load planning, dispatching, and tracking of shipments. * Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., warehousing, supply chain, customer service) to ensure seamless logistics execution and resolve operational issues. * Analyze transportation data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. * Negotiate with carriers and logistics providers to secure favorable rates and service agreements. * Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies. * Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) and other relevant software to manage and track shipments effectively. * Prepare and present reports on transportation performance, costs, and key performance indicators (KPIs). * Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks and disruptions in the transportation network. Job Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. * 3+ years of experience in transportation operations, logistics, or a related role, preferably within a large-scale e-commerce or retail environment. * Strong understanding of transportation modes, regulations, and best practices. * Proficiency in using Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and other logistics software. * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions. * Proven ability to negotiate effectively and manage vendor relationships. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams. * Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously. * Knowledge of JD.com's operational footprint and logistics challenges in the region is a plus. * chinses speaker At JINGDONG Logistics, we’re committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive.
