Waiter/Waitress; Host/Hostess; Bartender Sandy Lane, an AAA Five (5) Diamond, Forbes Five-Star exclusive resort and member of the Leading Hotels of the World, is seeking to fill the following vacancies in our Food and Beverage Department. WAITER/WAITRESS To Waiter/Waitress will report to the Assistant Restaurant Manager and is tasked with successfully managing his/her station by providing attentive and gracious food and beverage service to the Guest, thereby ensuring their satisfaction. They are responsible for serving food, wine and beverage, recording diner’s choices; suggesting courses; explaining specials; answering food preparation questions; picking up and delivering items from bar, kitchen and service areas; ensuring that there is prompt, accurate and personalized service that meet all Five Diamond, Triple AAA and Leading Hotels Standards. HOST/HOSTESS The Host/Hostess will report to the Restaurant Manager. They will be responsible for greeting the Guest, escorting them to the table and seating them cordially and courteously thereby ensuring a genuine welcome and interest in their dining experience. BARTENDER The Bartender will report to the Bars Manager and is responsible for ensuring satisfaction, by mixing and preparing cocktails and coffee/tea orders for the Guests and filling the Waiters' orders. He/she is also responsible for processing and closing Guests’ checks and ensures that the bar is well stocked. The Bartender practices good standards of hygiene at all times. Experience in the Hotel Industry is required for these vacancies. The successful candidates must consistently maintain the highest standard of service and operational efficiency within all areas of responsibility. They must be well-groomed and enthusiastic and will be required to work flexible hours. They must also be in excellent physical condition to perform extensive walking, bending and stretching and be able to handle pressure calmly and professionally in a busy environment
