What You’ll Do As a Vehicle Acquisition Specialist, you’ll be at the center of the action. Your responsibilities will include:
• Welcome customers and create a positive, professional experience from the moment they arrive
• Build relationships by asking the right questions and listening to understand customer needs
• Evaluate vehicle values, equity, depreciation, and market opportunities
• Assist with the acquisition and wholesale process for vehicles
• Help customers understand vehicle values and the factors that influence them
• Negotiate effectively while balancing customer satisfaction and dealership profitability
• Stay current on vehicle products, technology, features, accessories, incoming inventory, and market trends
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and assist with the wholesale-vehicle inspection process
• Work closely with the Service and Body Shop teams to ensure vehicles are properly reconditioned and ready on schedule
• Prepare vehicles for delivery and ensure they meet dealership standards
• Complete sales orders and paperwork accurately and according to dealership policies
• Follow up with customers and ensure outstanding items and special requests are handled
• Maintain an organized prospecting and follow-up system
• Attend sales meetings and contribute to the success of the team
• Review your daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly performance to identify opportunities to improve and grow What You Bring We’re looking for someone who is self-motivated, organized, customer-focused, and hungry to succeed.
• At least 1 year of business experience
• Strong customer service skills
• Excellent communication and active listening abilities
• Confident negotiating skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
