Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history. Northrop Grumman’s Space Sector is seeking a Logistics Support – Level 2 to join our team in Redondo Beach, CA. This is a physical, fast-paced position that combines logistics support, material handling, data entry, customer service, and local driving responsibilities. The selected candidate will work closely with engineering teams, internal customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure materials are delivered safely, accurately, and on schedule. The role requires strong attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to perform physical work, including lifting and transporting materials weighing up to 50 pounds. This position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off. In this job, you will:
• Receive, inspect, load, unload, and transport equipment and materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Inspect equipment for damage before accepting, transporting, or delivering materials and report any discrepancies.
• Verify transportation paperwork, delivery information, and destination locations for accuracy.
• Use wireless barcode scanners and other tracking systems to accurately document equipment movement.
• Enter and maintain equipment and transportation information in relational database systems.
• Safely load and secure equipment onto carts, pallets, trays, racks, and vehicles for transportation.
• Operate company vehicles, including cargo vans, pickup trucks, and 16- or 20-foot box trucks, to pick up and deliver materials throughout Southern California.
• Navigate loading docks and other delivery areas safely while following all vehicle, traffic, and company safety requirements.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and document vehicle condition to ensure safe operation.
• Coordinate with engineering teams, laboratories, internal customers, vendors, and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to support scheduling and material movement.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company procedures and applicable government requirements, including DFARS.
• Provide responsive customer service and communicate effectively regarding delivery schedules, equipment status, and potential issues.
• Support changing operational needs, including working at different physical locations when required.

• High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience.
• No clearance required to start
• Ability to frequently move and position/reposition objects weighing up to 50lbs
• Valid class C California State Driver’s License
• Proven track record of compliance to California Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV) rules and regulations
• Driving record: NO DUI’s, cell phone tickets nor reckless driving in past 3years
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a role that involved driving 2,5000 Lbs. GVWR Box trucks or larger sized vehicles
• Inventory, Material Management, Logistical or Warehousing experience
• Must be At least 21 years of age. Preferred Qualifications:
• Aerospace and Defense industry experience working with M&TE
• Competent level of computer and automated systems’ experience (Outlook, Excel, PPT, MRP)
• HazMat handling/storage/movement certification/experience

Northrop Grumman Total Rewards Primary Level Salary Range: $43,400.00 - $72,300.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
