Referral Veterinary Nurse

Are you a dedicated and compassionate surgical veterinary nurse looking to advance your skills? Veterinary Referral Services (VRS) is a Best Practice-accredited clinic providing complex diagnostic and surgical care for a range of referral cases from primary veterinary caregivers. We have a new, purpose-built facility with all the expected monitoring, diagnostic and surgical equipment. About the Job We are looking for a friendly, dedicated senior surgical nurse to work alongside our team of highly skilled professionals. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with surgical procedures and anaesthetic monitoring, ensuring high standards of clinical care
• Monitoring and caring for hospitalised patients, both pre- and post-surgery
• Assisting with endoscopy, ultrasound examinations and digital radiography
• Engaging with pet owners to help manage the needs of their pets
• Collaborating with the clinical team, and GP clinics to ensure optimal patient outcomes About you You’re a Diploma qualified Veterinary Nurse with surgical experience, strong communication skills and the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
