This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Software Engineer, Modernization based in the United States. This is a full-time, remote-eligible engineering role focused on reducing technical debt and transforming legacy applications into scalable, cloud-native systems. You will modernize .NET and C# applications, decompose monoliths, and build clean microservices and APIs designed for long-term maintainability. The role combines hands-on software engineering with cloud re-platforming across AWS, containerized environments, and modern infrastructure. You will also use AI-assisted development tools to analyze large codebases, accelerate refactoring, generate documentation, and improve test coverage. Working closely with Engineering, Architecture, Product, QA, Security, and Infrastructure teams, you will help establish reusable modernization patterns and engineering standards. The position offers an opportunity to influence how systems are designed, delivered, and evolved at scale.
