Quantity Surveyor -I

Project & Cost Management Key Responsibilities

• Manage cost management and quantity surveying activities across assigned projects.
• Prepare and review cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ) and cost plans.
• Conduct quantity take-offs, measurement and valuation of construction works.
• Support tender documentation, bid evaluation and contractor selection.
• Monitor project costs, budgets and financial performance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review variations, claims, interim payment applications and final accounts.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders.
• Provide cost advice and ensure project delivery aligns with approved budgets and client requirements.
• Prepare cost reports, forecasts and commercial updates for management and clients.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, project procedures and quality requirements. Required Skills & Experience
• Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in cost management and quantity surveying within the construction or infrastructure industry.
• Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, cost planning, tendering, measurement and contract administration.
• Experience in handling variations, claims, valuations and final accounts.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and relevant quantity surveying / cost management tools.
• Strong analytical, communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment. Preferred Experience
• Experience working with multidisciplinary cost management teams and consulting organisations.
• Exposure to commercial, residential, infrastructure or urban development projects.
• Knowledge of relevant contract forms, cost management practices and industry standards. What We Offer
