Job Summary: Under general supervision, designs, analyzes, and evaluates heat exchanger systems using engineering tools and applicable industry codes and standards. Prepares and maintains design documentation, including drawings, calculations, FEA analyses, and technical details. Manages bills of materials (BOMs) and component routings within ERP/MRP systems and provides technical support to manufacturing, operations, sales, and other customer-facing departments to support business objectives and customer requirements. Key Skills & Competencies Required:
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with internal business partners; English proficiency preferred, with bilingual skills considered a plus.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on the manufacturing floor.
- Demonstrated proficiency in heat exchanger design and drafting.
- Proficiency in mechanical design and calculations, including stress, seismic, wind, and nozzle load analyses, using applicable building codes such as IBC, NBC, and ASCE.
- Proficiency in developing technical specifications, including paint and nondestructive examination (NDE) specifications, to meet customer requirements.
- Ability to contribute effectively as a project team member on technical assignments.
- Ability to develop and deliver PowerPoint presentations on selected projects and technical topics for cross-functional training.
- Adhere to global and regional Product Engineering standards and operating procedures (SOPs). Education, Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (similar discipline) or higher
- 1+ years of engineering experience in the Heat Exchanger industry, or similar.
- Experience with plate and frame type heat exchangers a plus but not required
- 1+ years of experience in ASME Section VIII, Division 1, pressure vessel codes and calculations with the ability to perform calculations
- 1+ years of experience in AutoCAD/Inventor Design software experience
- 1+ years of experience in FEA/3D Modeling experience
- 1+ years of experience in PTC Prime, PTC Mathcad, MATLAB, or other similar engineering calculation software
- 1+ years of experience with an ERP/MRP software including creation of Components, Bills of Materials,Routings, etc.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 Enterprise software (Teams, SharePoint, PowerBi, etc)
