Veterinary Receptionist

We are seeking an organised, personable Receptionist to join our team at The Veterinary Clinic, West Bromwich on a full-time fixed-term basis, with the opportunity for the role to become permanent. The Veterinary Clinic group has proudly served the West Midlands community for over 30 years. Our PSS-accredited branches are fully equipped with laboratory, surgical and dental facilities, plus advanced diagnostic tools including dental x-ray, ultrasonography and a range of ophthalmic and orthopaedic equipment. How You’ll Make a Difference As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction. You’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey. Working Pattern * Full-time, 40 hours over 4 days * No weekends required Key Responsibilities You will be the friendly face that greets our clients and their pets as they walk through the door, supporting the client and patient journey from registration and appointment management through to insurance forms and other administrative tasks. No previous experience working with animals is required, but a strong affinity towards them is preferred. You’ll be working alongside two vets, two nurses and two student nurses, with the support of a Practice Manager and Clinical Director. We are fortunate to have lovely, loyal clients and patients, and one of the most rewarding parts of the role is supporting them throughout their journey, from their first appointment through to old age or periods of illness.
