• Execute defined Process Engineering projects under the supervision of the Sr. Engineering Manager
• Collaborate with colleagues across the enterprise to execute projects and measure their performance, including finance, R&D, and plant staff (process, quality and safety engineers)
• Analyze manufacturing processes and production data to identify opportunities for improving throughput, asset utilization, quality, yield, and cost performance.
• Track and report key manufacturing metrics before and after project execution
• Unit cost
• Production rates
• Yield and scrap performance
• Downtime
• Energy consumption
• Safety performance
• Participate in process audits and assessments to identify operational improvement opportunities.
• Support capital projects through data collection, engineering evaluations, commissioning, and startup activities.
• Develop presentations, reports, and recommendations for plant and corporate leadership.
• Travel within region (20-40% of time); occasional international travel Qualifications/ Experience:
• B.S. degree or higher in mechanical, manufacturing, electrical, chemical or controls engineering.
• Oral and written presentation skills in front of all levels of the organization
• Knowledgeable in the use of engineering software (simulation packages, Computer Aided Design (CAD), Minitab, Office Suite Measures Of Performance
• On-time and in-scope delivery of approved process engineering projects
• Accurate documentation of project progress and closure Compensation: • $65,000 -$80,000/year
• Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
