This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Staff Software Engineer (Women Applicants Only) based in Brazil. As a Staff Software Engineer, you will serve as a senior technical anchor with organization-wide influence across complex engineering environments. You will shape architectural strategy and roadmaps for large-scale products and platforms that are critical to long-term business objectives. The role focuses on solving systemic challenges involving distributed systems, high concurrency, data consistency, reliability, and scalability. You will transform ambiguous technical problems into clear, maintainable solutions while establishing engineering standards and best practices. Beyond architecture, you will mentor senior engineers, influence technical decisions, and help strengthen engineering culture across teams. You will work across organizational boundaries, balancing technical trade-offs while aligning engineering, product, and business stakeholders. The position follows a remote-first model, allowing you to work from anywhere in Brazil, with the option to work from offices or partner coworking spaces in São Paulo.
