You can learn about our benefits here : Job Summary This position works within the Department of Recreation and Parks, Human Resources Office and reports to BCRP’s Chief of Human Resources and will also take direction from the HR Generalists. The typical work hours are Monday thru Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. to include an unpaid one-hour lunch break. The work location is at BCRP’s Administrative Office located within Druid Hill Park at 3001 East Drive, Baltimore, MD 21217. Essential Functions
- Answering telephones, responding to general inquiries and taking & forwarding messages
- Fill in at the front desk as scheduled or needed
- Filing personnel and general files
- Assisting with the recruitment and hiring process for all types of employees including, permanent full-time, seasonal, part-time, temporary and contractual
- Assist with entering or updating data in spreadsheets
- Operate a variety of office machines, such as, photocopier, scanners, fax machines, and personal computers
- May order and maintain office supplies
- Performs other related work as required. Minimum Qualifications Education: Have graduated with a high school diploma or GED equivalent. AND Experience: Have one year of customer service and clerical experience. OR Equivalency Notes: Have an equivalent combination of education and experience. Licenses, Registrations, and Certificates: Have a valid Maryland Class C Noncommercial driver's license or an equivalent driver's license and be eligible to obtain a Baltimore City driver’s permit.
Provisional Driver’s Licenses Are Not Acceptable.
