The Talent Acquisition Partner I is an entry-level position responsible for sourcing and attracting top talent for the organization. This role involves evaluating and screening candidates for a variety of positions and promoting a diverse and inclusive work environment. The Talent Acquisition Partner I. Collaborates with hiring managers and HR business partners to influence talent decisions, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process. As SNC's corporate team, we provide the company and its business areas with strategic direction and business support spanning executive management, finance and accounting, operations, human resources, legal, IT, information security, facilities, marketing, and communications. Responsibilities:
- Source and attract qualified candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and networking.
- Evaluate and screen candidates' resumes and applications to assess their fit for open positions.
- Conduct initial interviews to qualify candidates and coordinate subsequent interview stages.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand job requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Promote a diverse and inclusive work environment by identifying and engaging candidates from diverse backgrounds.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of recruitment activities in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Provide a positive candidate experience by maintaining clear and timely communication throughout the recruitment process.
- Utilize data and analytics to inform and improve recruitment strategies and processes.
- Assist in onboarding new hires and ensuring a smooth transition into the company. Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University.
- 0-2 years of experience in talent acquisition or a related field.
- Relevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications. In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 4 years of related experience is required.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
- Basic understanding of employment laws and regulations.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a quality candidate pipeline, and providing a high level of client service.
- Strong project management, organizational and communication skills.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively cross functionally.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, results-oriented approach.
- Ability to accurately and positively represent SNC to the job market. Qualifications We Prefer:
- Experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry.
- Experience supporting a manufacturing environment
- Certification in HR or Talent Acquisition (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP, AIRS).
- Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools.
- Experience with salary negotiation and closing candidates.
- Experience with technical recruiting.
- Experience working in a service focused organization of comparable size and complexity.
- Experience with Workday ATS and Beamery CRM.
- Demonstrated consultative and solution-oriented approach to recruitment search engagements. Essential Functions:
- Ability to work on a computer for extended periods.
- Ability to communicate effectively via phone, email, and in-person.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Ability to travel as required.
