The Analytics Engineer, Officer will serve as a hands-on contributor within the Markets Intelligence & Strategic Insights team in Bangalore. This individual will support the development, enhancement and maintenance of Tableau dashboards, analytical reporting solutions and the underlying data infrastructure that enables informed decision-making across the business. The role will contribute to ETL pipeline development, the integration of disparate datasets, data quality activities and the delivery of scalable analytical products that generate automated insights at scale. Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of analytical products across the full analytics lifecycle, including data preparation, data modelling, dashboard development, reporting and stakeholder delivery
• Support the design and maintenance of high-quality ETL and lakehouse pipelines across Databricks and Amazon Redshift for the Single Source of Truth (SSOT) project, centralizing and integrating disparate datasets such as Salesforce and CRM, holdings, and finance data into a scalable analytical infrastructure
• Partner with business and sales teams to understand analytical requirements and develop reporting solutions that support commercial priorities, strategic planning and management decision-making
• Develop, enhance and maintain dashboards that present business trends, performance drivers and key insights in a clear, accurate and user-friendly manner to support decision-making
• Perform data quality checks, validate transformation logic and support improvements to the analytical layer, escalating issues as appropriate and collaborating with upstream teams to support timely resolution
• Document data definitions, assumptions, workflow logic and reporting methodologies to support consistency, transparency and repeatability across analytical outputs Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field from a recognised institution; equivalent practical experience will also be considered
• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in analytics, business intelligence, analytics engineering, data engineering or a related discipline, preferably within financial services or another data-intensive enterprise environment
• Demonstrated experience contributing to analytical products, including data modelling, data transformation, dashboard development and stakeholder-facing reporting
• Strong SQL skills and working knowledge of Python; familiarity with Spark, Databricks or similar technologies is beneficial
• Experience developing Tableau dashboards or comparable business intelligence reporting solutions
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic business environment. About State Street What we do.
