About This Opportunity The Administration Officer provides high-quality administrative, stakeholder engagement and event support to the Medical School and its Mayne Academies. Working within a collaborative, agile and inclusive team, you will help deliver operational excellence across School activities, governance processes, strategic initiatives and community engagement programs. - Providing high-level administrative support across School initiatives, projects, operational activities and events.
- Coordinating committee and governance support, including meeting administration, documentation, minutes and action tracking.
- Supporting the Deputy Head of School (Clinical Engagement) and Mayne Academy Heads through travel, event and financial administration.
- Maintaining effective stakeholder communications, website and intranet content, and assisting with engagement and recognition initiatives. This is a full-time, fixed-term position until August 2028 at HEW Level 5. About You As the Administration Officer, you will be a highly motivated and collaborative professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to delivering exceptional administrative and stakeholder support. You will bring:
- An undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training.
- Demonstrated experience providing high-quality administrative and organisational support in a complex, service-focused environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Strong organisational, time management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands and meet deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, together with the ability to quickly learn new systems, databases and processes.
- Experience interpreting policies and procedures, exercising sound judgement, and working both independently and collaboratively to deliver positive outcomes. The successful candidate may be required to complete a number of pre-employment checks, including right to work in Australia and a criminal check.
