Performance Fab a Structural Steel & Custom Fabrication Shop and sister company of Fox Cities Builders, providing high-quality fabrication solutions that support complex construction and industrial projects. Our Material Handlers are the heartbeat of the operation. From receiving and organizing materials to supporting production teams and maintaining a safe, efficient work environment, you'll play a critical role in keeping projects on schedule and customers satisfied. If you enjoy staying active, working independently, operating equipment, and being part of a hardworking team, this opportunity is for you! What You'll Do:
- Receive, unload, inspect, and organize incoming materials and deliveries
- Move materials throughout the fabrication shop, paint booth, wash bay, and yard
- Stage, label, and distribute materials to support production schedules
- Track inventory and identify material shortages, damage, or discrepancies
- Respond to material requests to keep shop operations productive and efficient
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas inside the shop and throughout the yard
- Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely
- Assist with inventory accuracy and material tracking
- Identify and correct potential safety hazards
- Secure materials, equipment, and facilities at the end of each shift
- Assist with general facility upkeep, including snow removal during winter months What We're Looking For:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities
- Safety-focused mindset and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Positive attitude and team-first mentality
- Forklift experience preferred (or willingness to learn)
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as needed
