Job Description and Position Requirements
The Department of Ecosystem Science and Management is seeking an instructor to teach FOR 466W: Forest Management and Planning. The course focuses on forest management decision-making and planning, including identifying and obtaining information needed for management decisions, developing and evaluating management alternatives, applying financial analysis to stand-level forest management activities, and balancing multiple management objectives. The instructor will guide students in developing written forest management plans for both small and large forested properties and in evaluating and critiquing public agency forest management plans. A Master's Degree or equivalent education and experience is required.
